Since 1982 SANYO FINE CO., LTD. has been supplying numerous functional materials often via close collaboration for mainly the pharmaceutical and food industry utilizing its original biochemical and organic synthetic technology.

SANYO FINE joined the group of DAISO CO. LTD. in December, 2008. Afterwards the Fine Chemicals Division of DAISO was merged with SANYO FINE in July, 2009, and pharmaceutical business units of both of them were unified. As a result, “new SANYO FINE” has restarted to promote its fine chemical business aggressively.

By the merger of the businesses, not only the research and development base for a wide variety of optically active compounds has been established, but also our core technologies of biochemistry and organic synthesis have been strengthened. Furthermore, we have gained a grand production base adding the Matsuyama Plant to the Kakogawa and Fukui Plants. As for marketing this unification has resulted in the advancement of customer services not only domestically but also overseas.
