Enlightenment activities are being actively promoted to establish early detection and early diagnosis of biliary atresia.

Forums on intractable pediatric diseases

The forums on intractable pediatric diseases are being held by the initiative of the family group of patients with biliary atresia, “Association for Saving Children with Biliary Atresia,” as the enlightenment activities about the importance of early detection and improvement in therapeutic method for overcoming biliary atresia. Through holding of these forums, approaches for the issues, such as introduction of the USBA test in infant medical examination, have been made to the concerned bodies commencing with the administrative organizations.
